NCAT transitioning to increased face-to-face hearings

Announcement – 3 May 2021

In response to the continued easing of COVID-19 restrictions in NSW, the President has announced NCAT will be transitioning to increased face-to-face hearings. The new arrangements have been published in the President’s Message on the NCAT Coronavirus (COVID-19) web page

The Tribunal will begin listing more face-to-face substantive hearings in the Consumer and Commercial Division, Administrative and Equal Opportunity Division, Occupational Division and the Appeal Panel. Parties are reminded to check their listing notices as to the manner of appearance for hearings will be either in person, by telephone or video conference, or a hybrid of these modes of appearance.

The manner of appearance for matters already listed will not change.

Please do not attend an NCAT Registry or an in-person Tribunal hearing if you are feeling unwell.
