NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal
NCAT commenced operating on 1 January 2014 replacing more than 20 of the State's existing Tribunals and provides a single gateway for tribunal services in NSW.
If you have lodged an application with an existing tribunal before 1 January 2014 the application does not have to be re-lodged at NCAT. More>>
Matters previously heard in the Consumer, Trader and Tenancy Tribunal (CTTT) are now heard in the Consumer and Commercial Division of NCAT as are retail lease matters previously heard in the Administrative Decisions Tribunal and dividing fences matters previously dealt with by Local Land Boards. An application to NCAT may result in a hearing. The Tribunal can also resolve matters without a hearing. More>>
