New liquor and gaming review jurisdiction for NCAT

Announcement - 1 March 2016

From 1 March 2016, the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) will have new jurisdiction to review decisions made by the Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority.

Amendments to the Gaming and Liquor Administration Act 2007 provide for NCAT to review certain licensing decisions by the Authority.

Applicants will have 28 days to apply to NCAT's Administrative and Equal Opportunity Division for an administrative review of the Authority's decision from the date it is published on the Liquor & Gaming NSW website.
